WORKSHOP GOALS:

1. Describe certifications needed and general requirements in a variety of educational settings

2. Have general knowledge of academic and educational settings, roles, and soft skill practices

3. Obtain strategies for minimizing situational anxiety

PRESENTER BIO: 

Brooke Cordova has worked as an educational interpreter with multiple post-secondary institutions around Southern California for the past six years, though she has been working on managing her anxiety far longer. EIPA certified and holding a BA in Deaf Studies/Interpreting as well as an MA in Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy, Brooke has practical experience with overthinking everything. She is passionate about linguistics, post-assignment debriefs, and never being late to anything. Ever.
